Some plants are at their peak as they bloom, others are more steadily beautiful and appreciated for their foliage. To be honest, just the living nature makes every perfection or flaw interesting, conveying information about where the plant is in its yearly cycle. Living up close and hands on in my container garden, here are some moods I've captured across the years.
